Job Description Our Chef de Partie delivers consistency, efficiency, and precision on the line. They take pride in their work, maintain high standards in every task, and consistently execute dishes to spec. Focused and organized, they work clean, stay calm under pressure, and support smooth service from prep to pass. They respond to guest requests with professionalism and flexibility, and bring a sharp sense of timing, teamwork, and accountability to every shift. They also lead by example - setting the tone for our cooks, supporting skill development, and helping maintain a disciplined, collaborative kitchen culture. The day to day: Perform delegated tasks from the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and/or General Manager Day-to-day food preparation of the restaurant according to O&B standards Cook and plate dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, maintaining high standards during every service Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant Maintain a prep list of station duties Follow the FIFO method to maximize freshness Assist in food inventory and control Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items Clean food prep areas, equipment, and utensils, and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines Strictly adhere to WHMIS and MSDS guidelines Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required Qualifications 3+ years cooking experience in a fast-paced restauran Culinary diploma/degree is an asset An understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure Able to spend 100% of the time standing Valid Food Handlers certificate, preferred Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays This is a full time position Legally eligible to work in Canada Additional Information This is a current vacancy Hourly wage: $20 - $23 /hour AI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software. Requirements

Applicants need at least three years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant, professional cooking knowledge, knife-handling skills, and the ability to follow direction and work calmly under pressure. A valid Food Handler certificate is preferred; a culinary diploma or degree is an asset, and evening, weekend, and holiday availability and legal eligibility to work in Canada are required.
