After nearly two decades of success, TLH Heliskiing merged with Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa, bringing the best of both worlds together to provide a seamless boutique heliski resort experience. In 2010, Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa underwent a major renovation, maintaining the original log structure and completely refurbishing it to a new standard of mountain luxury. New guest facilities were added and major updates were made to the spa and kitchen. In 2017, a new name reflecting the consolidated brand and harkening back to our roots, Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing moves towards the future. Tyax Lodge is one of Canada's top wilderness accommodations. After a long day of activities, a warm fire and a cold drink start to look pretty good. Now add a hot tub and a three-course meal. A single-malt whisky and a game of billiards. Perhaps a massage. Getting the idea? When we completely renovated this massive log lodge in 2010, we wanted to bring a sense of pampered elegance to this lakeside wilderness, without losing the rustic touches that let you know you’re a long way from downtown.

Lead daily kitchen operations and service while working with the Executive Chef on seasonal menus, private fine-dining programs, restaurant service, weddings, catering, and events. Train and mentor the culinary team, manage purchasing, inventory, food costs, scheduling, and sanitation, and prepare to progress into the Executive Chef role.
