Business Address: 1337 Fox Harbour Road, Fox Harbour, NS, B0K 1Y0 Work location: same as above Type of Employment: Full-time-Seasonal Estimated Start Date: March 1st, 2027; Estimated End Date: November 30th 2027 Job Description: Sweep, mop, wash, strip, wax and polish floors Dust furniture Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Make beds and change sheets Distribute clean towels and toiletries Stock linen closet Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Disinfect operating rooms and other areas Clean and disinfect elevators Handle and report lost and found items Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items Provide basic information on facilities Pick up debris and empty trash containers Wash windows, walls and ceilings Clean changing rooms and showers May handle customers' complaints or concerns Report and store lost and found items Requirements: Education: No formal education is required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling Personal suitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability Language: Basic level of English is required Salary: $19.60 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.
