The Sr. Analyst, Food and Beverages Procurement, TH, US&C will be responsible for developing procurement strategies (food and paper categories), leading contractual conversations, and liaising with cross functional teams to support business growth, new product launches and restaurant profitability. The position works closely with R&D, Innovation, Marketing, Operations, QA and Supply Chain to support the Tim Hortons Brand in North America. The Sr. Analyst, Direct Procurement will actively prioritize and manage the following key activities and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies (including contingencies) aligned with business objectives
  • Negotiate and execute RFPs, lead contractual conversations, and drive cost savings initiatives to improve EBITDA and restaurant profitability
  • Research, analyze, and interpret data and market trends, using it as input in the sourcing/negotiation strategy as well in the creation of cost models to manage cost within the category
  • Participates in cross-functional meetings as the procurement lead, making sourcing recommendations and highlighting supply risks to enable the innovation pipeline of hundreds of SKUs annually
  • Assess and manage supplier relationships to deliver to key metrics such as service level, quality, innovation, and strong commercial relationship, acting as the main point of contact with vendors when issues need to be resolved
  • Support new vendor and sku onboarding as well as quarterly cost management in the RBI system
  • Drive process improvement within the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
  • 2+ years in procurement, supply chain or related function
  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills (researching, analyzing, and interpreting data)
  • Exceptional time management, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Sourcing skills (RFP, negotiation, and supplier relationship management)
