What is the opportunity?

We're looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill our Manager, Operations role. With responsibilities spanning local and company-wide initiatives, this role will support RBC Borealis managing operational programs & processes across multiple offices and playing a leader role in overseeing key organizational initiatives. As a member of the team, you will be joining a group that believes in being bold & curious, so we are looking for someone who is driven, eager to make an impact, and thinks outside the box!

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of three offices in Toronto & Waterloo, prioritizing the operating efficiency of the office, including facility management, ordering supplies & groceries, and iterating on existing operating processes;

  • Create and foster the employee experience by owning event management & execution, communications to employees, and proactively anticipating needs;

  • Support organizational planning initiatives and processes, such as annual & quarterly planning cycles and OKRs;

  • Manage key culture and experience initiatives and processes that support the development of a high performance culture, such as on/off boarding and Town Halls;

  • Create strong relationships with stakeholders across RBC Borealis to ensure program objectives are aligned to needs of the organization;

  • Develop and deliver clear communications, stakeholder requirements, data collection, and program updates;

  • Contribute to the development of initiative strategies and execution plans and regularly provide insights to improve the offerings.

You're our ideal candidate if you have:

  • 3-5 years experience in program management, administration, or operations;

  • Driven, proactive, and results-focused with meticulous organizational, planning and time management skills;

  • Passion and experience in delivering exceptional experiences, especially for employees;

  • Skilled at building relationships with a view to driving outcomes and business impact;

  • Experience with strategic communications planning and execution;

  • Strategic, out of the box, and creative thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to quickly assess problems, prioritize key issues, using data and metrics to provide insight.
