The Golden Lotus specializes in Asian cuisine with an all-you-can-eat buffet and a-la-carte menu. The job involves:

ñ Taking guest orders, communicating details of food preparation techniques, providing information

about wine, beer and cocktail lists and promoting suitable meal/drink pairings

ñ Serving and delivering food/drinks in a friendly and professional manner

ñ Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest's needs

ñ Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation

ñ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

ñ Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels

ñ Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties

ñ Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

ñ Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage, preferably Asian cuisine

ñ Fluent in Cantonese & English (written and verbal)

ñ Smart Serve certification

ñ Exceptional Chinese cuisines service skills

ñ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ñ Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
