What you do:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of restaurant marketing, including social media management, local promotions, content creation, and brand platform responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food and hospitality industry, eager to learn, and ready to contribute fresh ideas to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty. This internship will provide valuable experience in executing marketing campaigns, analyzing customer trends, and supporting brand initiatives to drive restaurant traffic and engagement

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Event Management Platform Rollout: Assist in setting up restaurant account pages and event templates on our event management platform to ensure a seamless experience for both restaurant teams and guests. Work closely with internal stakeholders to standardize event listings, optimize content for engagement, and troubleshoot any setup issues.
  • National Email Marketing: Support the creation and execution of national email marketing campaigns by assisting with content development, audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking. Work with the team to ensure emails align with brand messaging and drive customer engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage the social media strategy and content calendar for our virtual brand. Engage with followers, monitor trends, and create compelling content to enhance brand awareness and online presence. Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize future posts and campaigns.
  • Brand Platform Asset Tracker: Maintain and update the brand asset tracker to ensure all marketing materials, creative assets, and timelines are organized and up to date. Assist in tracking changes and updates to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Agency Collaboration: Work closely with agency partners to align on deliverables, provide necessary assets, and meet project deadlines. Act as a point of contact to facilitate communication and ensure marketing initiatives are executed smoothly.
  • Additional Marketing Support: Assist with other marketing-related tasks and projects as needed, such as campaign planning, market research, competitor analysis, and supporting restaurant teams with promotional materials.

Who you are:

  • You have completed or are working towards a Marketing Degree / Diploma
  • You have 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of social medial platforms
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • You are proficient in design tools such as Canva and Photoshop
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have an interest in marketing and community engagement
  • You can work independently and as part of a team
  • You have an interest in marketing and community engagement
