Reporting to the Innovation Manager, the Event and Site Planner is responsible for leading the planning and execution of a portfolio of strategic events while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements. The role involves coordinating efforts for their portfolio of projects both within Nova Scotia Health and through various vendors, ensuring that the business development team is kept up to date on projects and brought in as needed. This role will interface with internal clinical departments to mobilize the launch of new services and demonstrate innovation through key speakers, slide decks, events, and working closely with the Innovation leadership team and the Manager team to establish high-quality and professional events. Externally, the role will interface with the innovation ecosystem funders, private industry, academia, start-up companies, government departments, etc.
The Events and Site Planner at the NS Health Innovation Hub is the primary point of contact for both internal and external events, as well as the lead for all facilities-related functions. This role has two primary functions:
