We are seeking Food Service Workers to join the Food Services team at Curtis Memorial Hospital. As a Food Service Worker on our team of other service stars, you'll take on the important task of providing an exceptional food service experience to the patients, families, and staff of Curtis Memorial Hospital.

Job Responsibilities

• Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all guests
• Educate guests on menu items, daily features, and events in the cafeteria
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of production and services areas
• Prepare some food items such as sandwiches, soups, salads in accordance with menu
• Assemble patient food trays in accordance with dietary preferences
• Stock and merchandise shelves, cereal and bread bar, salad bar, and coolers as required
• May wash and sanitize component dishes and utensils
• Record temperatures, label products in accordance with FIFO, complete waste log and cleaning log
• Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures including occupational health and safety and food safety
• May perform other job duties as required

Qualifications

• Experience in the restaurant/food service industry considered an asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Must be flexible, as evening and weekend work is required
