The TBS Enterprise sales operations team leverages best practices, collaboration and thought leadership to drive strategic & best in class events and sponsorships to enhance TELUS' brand, products and services.

As the Senior Event Marketing Manager within our TBS Enterprise sales operations team, you will collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, to help identify unique opportunities to deliver against business objectives through our contractual rights and benefits, while carefully tracking budgets and results. Skilled at implementing, you understand what is required to take a plan from concept to activation.

This is a unique opportunity offering diverse exposure and experience across the sales teams. As the primary contact to the sales team you will be responsible for managing and executing on our internal & external hosting strategy and play a key role in feeding customer and sales insights to help drive continuous improvements.

Here's how

  • Collaboration with cross functional internal and external teams to help establish objectives, advance timelines, escalate issues as required, build consensus, and motivate to deliver best-in class integrated event & sponsorship activations
  • Foster strong working relationships across the organization including sales, community investment, corporate sponsorship, and finance to ensure interlock on the execution of our hosting strategy
  • At the events/asset level, forecast, manage and be accountable for budgets and invoice management
  • Assist sales by creating branded email invitations and ensure the tracking of our hosting assets is up to date and in alignment with our policies
  • Monitor and report on hosting performance metrics with a view of providing executive updates on asset utilization and return on investment on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly)
  • Navigate timelines carefully, proactively and effectively communicates to advance milestones and manage priorities
