The Role:

  • Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Brand, The Local Store Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Actioning vetted store requests, submitting to graphic designer and rolling out to stores
  • Leading LSM budget admin support - including invoicing & donations processing
  • Ensuring the restaurant information is accurately reflected online, managing website updates for hours of operation, openings, closures and activations
  • Leading the execution of marketing related activities as it relates to New Restaurants Openings, as well as Closures and Renovations
  • Being the point person for our Bar One Brand!
  • As well as Other non LSM specific support as needed

A Typical day:

  • Assist the Senior Specialist, LSM on actioning marketing plans
  • Request local store marketing assets from our graphic designer that are on brand and clearly communicate our message
  • Manage printer relationship and printer portal inventory
  • Be in contact with store Operators to ensure marketing efforts are effectively landing in store, capturing and sharing out best practices as needed
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns that solve common business problems you hear from the field and see in our reporting
  • Populate LSM campaign process tools, including campaign briefs, critical paths, workbacks and so on
  • Ensure all major initiatives are evaluated and provide on-going feedback and recommendations about how to improve execution
  • Provide recommendations for future strategic initiatives through competitive analysis in each region

About You:

  • You're organized and able to manage multiple projects with changing timelines and are confident in your time management skills to prioritize various tasks
  • You're a self-starter; you relish the opportunity to identify needs and act, without being explicitly told to do so
  • You're a person of integrity, honesty, and trust. These attributes are important to you, and they are at your core
  • You're comfortable with the unknown. We're organized but rapidly growing. You need to be comfortable working in an environment that will continue to evolve
  • You're hands-on and love meeting new people
  • You're a great communicator. You shine when you can pass on knowledge about your craft and gather requirements from stakeholders. You can articulate your thoughts clearly, with various audiences, including executives, peers, franchise partners and ops teams
  • You have 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience

Other details

  • This role is full time, located at Northland Properties head office in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
  • Our office supports a hybrid work schedule with a mix of in-office days and work from home days.
