Job Summary

Revelstoke Mountain Sports School seeks to recruit and retain experienced, attentive and enthusiastic employees to represent the Mountain Bike School as a certified instructor, to lead groups of all levels. Our focus is to provide our Guests with a memorable experience at RMR, in a fun and safe learning environment for all participants.

RMR is committed to supporting our staff with training and scheduling flexibility to allow staff to attend PMBIA training

This is seasonal position available from May to October.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain a safe environment for all guests and staff
  • Lead and teach a variety of Mountain Bike programs including, groups and private lessons, clinics and camps
  • Represent the resort in a positive, professional manner
  • Develop and close sales opportunities, selling commissionable lessons
  • Assist snow school management and other departments, including off-mountain assignments

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Work eligibility in Canada
  • PMBIA Certification - and/or other recognized International Instructor Certification Organization
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions organization
  • Ability to teach both children and adults, at the appropriate level.
  • Passion for the mountains, guest service and the sport
  • Can produce physical SIN card or valid revenue Canada doc including full SIN number
  • Bondable, with a criminal record check less than 3 months old
