Job Summary:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic server to provide an exceptional and memorable dining experience for our guests. The server will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner, and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional service, romance food and knowledgeably sell and up-sell mocktails, cocktails, wine and craft beer
  • Serve guests in a prompt and courteous manner, within the seating limits to ensure proper table flips for the next reservation
  • Provide the ultimate guest experience, get to know your guests and create an environment they want to experience again
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and wait stations
  • Polish glassware, wine glasses, and cutlery to the required standard
  • Create the proper ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant and adjust as the evening progresses
  • Knowledgeably recommend wine and drink pairings to the food menu for guests
  • Go above and beyond in recognition of special occasions for the reservations
  • Support other service team members

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Serving It Right Certificate required
  • WSET or other professional wine training or certification is an asset
  • Experience serving in an elevated restaurant environment
  • Possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Personable, friendly and outgoing
  • High energy and strong work ethic

Working Conditions

Hours of Operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

  • $16.75/hour + gratuities
