JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and service-driven Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house team in delivering an exceptional, reservation-based fine dining experience. This role supports both staff and management by fostering a positive, collaborative environment, ensuring smooth operations, and consistently upholding high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate is confident, organized and attentive - an individual who leads by example and understands the importance of anticipating guest and team needs before they arise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support front-of-house staff in delivering warm, professional and attentive service
  • Lead by example to maintain an elevated guest experience and culture of hospitality
  • Oversee standards and ensure a clean, well-organized dining room and wait stations
  • Asist in training and onboarding new staff members, ensuring alignment with service standards and company values
  • Delegate responsibilities and adjust staffing flow as needed to ensure efficient service
  • Foster strong team communication and collaboration between front and back of house
  • Build guest rapport, tailoring service to individual preferences
  • Create and maintain an inviting atmosphere that reflects the tone and quality of the restaurant
  • Offer thoughtful wine and beverage recommendations
  • Recognize and respond to special occasions and guest needs with warmth and initiative
  • Assist management with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory and daily reports
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure exceptional service and team support

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position provides direct supervision to the Full-Service Dining Servers, Bartenders and Support staff during a shift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

  • Serving It Right Certificate required
  • WSET or other professional wine training or certification is an asset
  • At least two years' experience serving or bartending in an elevated restaurant environment
  • At least one years' experience supervising in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with all team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Personable, friendly and outgoing
  • High energy and strong work ethic

WORKING CONDITIONS

Hours of Operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$20.43 to $23.90/hour + gratuities
