As part of the Big White Housekeeping team, you are responsible for assisting housekeeping and laundry to ensure smooth daily operations. Among the responsibilities include; driving staff to and from accommodation properties, deliver clean and dirty linens and housekeeping stock, performing light maintenance jobs. This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect and maintain Central Reservations vehicles
  • Clean Central Reservations vehicles keeping them presentable
  • Participate in and pass our Driver Training Course
  • Develop a good understanding of village layout and be able to give directions to all units
  • Drive staff to and from accommodation properties
  • Deliver clean linen to accommodation buildings and pick up dirty laundry and garbage
  • Answer incoming calls and assist housekeepers with requested items to be delivered
  • Assist in or laundry or housekeeping when necessary
  • Assist in shoving show of decks in accommodation units
  • Fulfilling tasks in a time sensitive manner
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist guests with all questions and requests
  • All other duties as required

Details:

  • Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week
  • Hourly wage $20.50
  • Staff accommodation onsite, for approved applicants
  • Nov/Dec 2024 - April, 2025
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Applicable Skills:

  • No education or experience required, we will train you on the job
  • Must have full-privileged (open) driving license (no L's, N's or P's)
  • Must be able to change current license over to BC driving license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must have had a driving license for 3 years
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Detail orientated
  • 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality
