Custodial Worker, Auxiliary Competition No. 23-01 Internal/External Opportunity This is a Union Position Anticipated start date: as soon as possible Located next to downtown Victoria, the Township of Esquimalt, with a population of over 17,000, is home to Canada's Pacific Naval Fleet. The community boasts extensive amenities including beautiful parks and beaches, scenic waterfront walkways as well as modern recreational facilities, schools and commercial services. Esquimalt Parks and Recreation is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Auxiliary Custodial Worker position. The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning services in the Gorge Park Pavilion, Recreation Centre, Sports Centre and Park washrooms. Monitor, clean and disinfect the washrooms, activity rooms, serveries, stairwells, and hallways. Set up rooms for functions. Handle various cleaning materials. Other preferred qualifications include: High school graduation. Current and valid Class 5 B.C. Drivers License.
