NOTE: This is a temporary full-time position ending on or before July 2025 with the possibility of extension.
NOTE: Occasional evening and weekend work is required during the academic year. Occasional travel within Edmonton and area required.
Reporting to the Recreation and Athletics Administration Manager, the Recreation Coordinator is responsible for providing recreation programming opportunities to NAIT students. This team offers active living opportunities to students to enhance campus vibrancy and overall experience outside the classroom. The role will have a focus on sport programs, as well as working closely with the health and fitness specialist to offer a holistic approach to campus recreation. In addition to leading sport programs at NAIT, this position will contribute to the ongoing success of large-scale recreation events across campus, outdoor programming, and academic project support.
The successful candidate is a nimble learner, who instills trust through effective communication and collaboration. They are action orientated and demonstrate quality decision-making abilities.

Remuneration: $ 61,997.52- $ 83,085.08 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Coordinator l).
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
