What can you expect?

Lift and Gondola Mechanics are in a visible role and provide an outstanding experience for guests via the safe, efficient, dependable operation and maintenance of the lifts and gondola.

This job might be right for you if you enjoy:

• Leading/assisting in all lift and gondola maintenance duties while always maintaining and contributing to a safe and efficient work site e.g., operating lifts, lift inspections, troubleshooting, disassembly, assembly, cleaning of equipment and worksites, and loading and unloading or passengers
• Performing timely completion of documentation e.g., daily checks and reports, assigned logs, daily reports, maintenance logs, inventory counts, worksite inspections, safe work plans
• Communicating unusual operating conditions e.g., mechanical, operational, environmental
• Adhering to company initiatives and policies, relevant legislation, and manufacturer guidelines

And you have:

• Mechanical knowledge
• Active trade Apprenticeship with ski industry experience (considered an asset)
• Journeyman trades certificate with ski industry experience (considered an asset)
• Valid and clean Alberta driver's license
• Availability to work flexible schedules e.g., weekends, holidays, nights, extended hours
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
