Job Title: Sales and Events Manager
Location: Rosemead House | Janevca Restaurant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Events Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales and ensuring the seamless execution of weddings and events at our esteemed hotel and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Management:
· Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and secure new business for weddings, events, and corporate functions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors.
· Conduct site visits, provide pricing quotes, and create compelling proposals.
· Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
· Building relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.
Event Planning and Coordination:
· Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their events.
· Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of weddings and events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
· Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, service staff, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
· Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Client Relations:
· Serve as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event completion.
· Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
· Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Marketing and Promotion:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to promote wedding and event services through various channels.
· Attend bridal shows, industry events, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
· Assist the marketing team in maintaining social media content.
Hotel Management:
· Provide hotel management assistance for the Rosemead Hotel General Manager on their days off. This will include management of staff.
Qualifications:
· Diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Sales, or related field preferred.
· Proven experience in event planning and sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
· Strong negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
· Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
