We are a 42 bed full service Regional Health Centre located in the family friendly city of Dryden, Ontario. We are powered by 300 highly engaged staff and everyone here understands their contribution to health care and the patient experience. Our leadership team, board of directors and physicians work well together to achieve full accreditation status; manage our finances and forecast the changing the needs of our catchment region. Our hospital features a 24/7/365 ER department supported by on site Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Services; 16 physicians support all aspects of local health care delivery including General Surgery, Oncology, Fracture Clinic, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine and much more. We have maintained a balanced budget for over 15 years through prudent fiscal management and partnering with the local and broader community for capital fundraising efforts. Patient care is our foremost concern each and every day and we strive to provide the very best for the people that rely upon our services. None of the above is possible without the great staff that we have; the DRHC received the Gold Quality Health Care Workplace Award from the Ontario Hospital Association in 2016. Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment within the Surgical Services Department by disinfecting operating rooms and equipment. Responsibilities include managing biomedical waste, handling soiled linen, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
