Job Description In Room Dining Server (Part Time) You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings makes guests feel unique and valued. What you will be doing: Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods 24 hour operation including shifts in the morning, afternoon, evenings and includes overnight shifts (11pm – 730am) Cashiering, taking orders over the telephone and organizing the daily deliveries Delivering orders and complimentary gifts to guest rooms Setting up and working functions in guest rooms for up to 15 guests Other duties as assigned Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy environment including overnight shifts (11pm – 730am) 6 months previous food & beverage experience required preferably in a similar setting Must have ProServe certification Wine and cocktail knowledge an asset POS knowledge an asset Must be able to lift and carry up to 40+lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
