The Club is recruiting a Contract Part time Bartender (end on 31 Dec 2026) to join our Food & Beverage Department. This position will be responsible for providing food and beverage service to Club members and guests, mainly serving from Sports Bar which services multiple outlets. Key Duties and Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors Advise supervisor of any issues and levels of inventory as required Prepare, pour, and serve drinks and beverages accurately to members and serving staff Provide full service to members in the Sports Bar Knowledge of all food and beverage menus, brand selections, prices and garnishes Restock bar products, garnish trays, and ice bins as necessary throughout shift Process all transactions accurately in the POS terminal Employ up-selling and suggestive selling techniques in order to enhance member experience and increase revenues Job Specifications Mandatory: Smart Serve Certification Hospitality Certification, Bartending Course, First Aid Certification considered an asset Computer literacy with understanding of computerized point of sale systems Must have experience in the Food & Beverage industry, specifically working as a bartender and preferably have some experience with the private Club industry Exceptional interpersonal and member service skills Must comply with all federal, provincial, municipal and Club policies relating to the serving of alcohol Ability to maintain composure and performance standards during busy peak times Ability to operate all bar related equipment such as kegs and washers Keen knowledge of beer, wine, and beverages including experience preparing a variety of mixed drinks Must be an excellent team player and must be able to handle difficult situations Mandatory availability on Friday- Sunday and have open availability, including weeknights, weekends & statutory holidays Toronto Cricket Skating & Curling Club is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
