Must have open availability and be available to work 40 hours per week You will be responsible for: Leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members. Assisting and providing administrative support for the Head Chef Participating and actively leading the production and service for the Restaurant in a set station (prep/production, service case, HMR, Cappuccino Bar). Fostering a positive team environment that is focused on Always Customer First service while developing a skilled and motivated culinary team. Engaging and retaining team members through training and development, performance management, rewards/recognition and the identification and development of future leaders. Assisting the Chef in ordering and effectively controlling all kitchen related costs (food, Labour and packaging). Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout Kitchen & Restaurant seating area and lead by example. Ensuring that all team members follow standard recipes, focusing on our high standard of taste and presentation. Establishing a strong working relationship between the kitchen and service. Achieving operational standards (e.g., merchandising, customer service, cleanliness, food safety, receiving, shrink, scheduling, ordering, health and safety). Participating and ensuring accurate monthly inventory. Following Company and Store policies and procedures and ensure compliance. You have: Food Safe Certification. A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service. A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
