Join the Marriott family today! The Role We are looking for an excellent team player with 4* characteristics and experience. As a bartender in our food and beverage outlets, you are expected to exceed guest expectations and maximize food and beverage revenue each and every shift. You will achieve excellence by providing your guests with efficient and friendly service. Job Duties Reporting to the Restaurant Leadership Team, the primary responsibilities are: Greeting and providing exceptional guest service to our guests at the bar while creating an amazing guest experience. Fulfilling all servers’ bar orders Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including regular cleaning of glassware, bar tools, and surfaces to meet hygiene and safety standards. Monitor and manage bar inventory, restock supplies, keep track of popular drinks and plan for inventory replenishment. Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately and process payments on the POS system. You will be tasked to occasionally serve tables, run food in your outlet and assist in the overall success of our two outlets. Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and always follow through with all tasks with a strong drive to succeed! Take part in daily Bar-Prep, assisting in crafting our house made syrups and garnishes. Physical Demands Required to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Able to reach, bend, and crouching to access supplies, glassware, and bar equipment. Lift, carry, and move items such as cases of liquor, kegs, ice buckets, glass racks, and bar supplies up to 25 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous movement during peak service periods. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business levels. Employment Experience And Educational Requirements Minimum of two years of bartending experience in an upscale establishment Have a valid ProServe certification Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without sacrificing quality.
