Job summary

You are the high-energy, happy, and friendly provider of an après-ski-to-remember for our guests! You love being part of a bar atmosphere and having guests regale you with their runs of the day! You will provide high quality food and beverage service to all guests in a professional and efficient manner. You will be very sales oriented and will be expected to have full knowledge of the Profitek Point of Sale system. This position requires shift work. This is a seasonal position that can lead into year-round work. Essential Functions: Deliver a “above and beyond” attitude to all guests while generating a feeling of being in the friendliest atmosphere on the planet. Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of professionalism by following the company dress code and/or wearing the company uniform. Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour, and attitude always. Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately. Proactively attend to customer complaints in a professional manner Advise customers on food and beverage choices, making suggestions when necessary. Take orders from customers and ensure these are given to the appropriate person to execute. Check identification of customers to make sure they meet the age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. Clean agreed designated areas in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning or evening routines, and hygiene requirements Experience/Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent A minimum of two years’ experience serving in a high-volume bar atmosphere with personal sales of $1200 in a shift. Serving it Right Certificate Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work individually as well as part of a team. Demonstrated time management skills. High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment. Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry 50 lbs.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in a high-volume bar setting. Candidates must possess a Serving it Right Certificate and be physically able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.
