Position Summary We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests, residents, and staff. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working independently as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, washrooms, staff areas, and other assigned spaces Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times Assist with seasonal deep cleaning or special projects as required Ensure all work areas are left clean, organized, and secure Qualifications & Skills Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred (training provided) Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment (or willingness to learn) Manual dexterity required to use various cleaning apparatus and supplies. Ability to lift to 30 pounds. Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, crouching, and kneeling. Flexible hours.
