This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, develop your beverage knowledge, and contribute to a lively social environment. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. * Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. * Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, accurately processing transactions. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. * Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure seamless service. * Follow all food safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures, to ensure guest safety and compliance. * Collaborate with team members to coordinate serving efforts during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills. *Qualifications* * Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; experience as a bartender is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a lively environment. * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for cashiering and transaction processing. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. * Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes accurately. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Prior experience in hospitality or food service industries will be considered an asset.
