HTA 75 FAQs
No. HTA 75 programs are free for hospitality workers. If a program is partnered with George Brown College, HTA 75 covers the registration fee. Please note that participants may need to cover additional costs such as textbooks or supplies. You can sign the Skills Development Fund (SDF) form electronically using Adobe Acrobat or a similar PDF tool. Here are a few tips if the form does not open properly: Download the form to your computer before opening it Try opening it on a desktop computer rather than a phone Visit a library or community centre if you need computer access Print, sign, scan, and email it back if needed If you still have trouble signing the form, please email us and our team will help. No. These programs are available only to individuals with hospitality experience. The SDF form does not require a password, but it does have restrictions because it is a Government of Ontario document. Common issues include:
Opening the form on a phone Using an Apple device without a PDF reader Not having Adobe installed Using an older version of Adobe If you still cannot open the form, please email us and we will support you. No. We currently accept only hospitality workers with previous experience in the field. We provide employment support for international students who already have hospitality experience. We require a valid work permit for refugee claimants before joining training. Yes, possibly. Once you meet with a Service Navigator, they will help you create a learning plan based on your goals and readiness. It depends. Your Service Navigator will guide you on how many trainings you can take at once based on your assessment. Transportation support is available for Culinary, Front of House and Housekeeping trainings. Yes. Online training can be done on a smartphone. However, we recommend using a computer for the best learning experience. If you do not have access to a computer, please let us know and we will see how we can support you. It depends. Your Service Navigator will guide you on how many trainings you can take at once based on your assessment.
