About the role

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service and hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Manage team members through interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
  • Handle cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor customer service levels to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation and kitchen operations to optimize workflow.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Enforce restaurant policies, health codes, and safety procedures to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and professionalism to foster a motivated team environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food service roles with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management, supervising staff, interviewing candidates, and training new employees.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience with kitchen operations and food industry best practices.
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
