What we want
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Bartender's main objective is to welcome guests and ensure the smooth running of operations, by stocking the bars, receiving alcohol and BNA orders, assisting with payments, setting up and ensuring the cleanliness of the premises.
What you will do
- Greet guests, present menu, make additional suggestions/sales and answer beverage questions;
- Collect payment for beverages and record sales;
- Participate in monthly inventories;
- Know the products/different menus (alcohol, food, BNA etc.) and respect service standards;
- Ensure that everything is in place for the evening and/or day shift;
- Maintain a clean area in compliance with MAPAQ health and safety regulations (glass collection, filing of empty bottles, tidying of storerooms, etc.);
- Maintain, control and rotate products in cellars, beer fridges and BNAs;
- Restock food service outlets (beer, wine, juice, straws, ice cream, etc.);
- Carry out any other related tasks requested by his/her immediate superior or required by his/her duties.
Profile required
- Diploma in food service, hospitality or service; an asset ;
- Minimum experience of one year in a similar position;
- Knowledge of the characteristics of different wines and menus; an asset;
- Good organizational skills and rigorous work ethic;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Autonomy, dynamism, honesty and versatility;
- Positive attitude, resourcefulness, ability to remain calm under pressure.
Salary
According to the salary scale in effect plus benefits related to Nordik Spa Village.
Work schedule
Part-Time : Minimum of 16 hours per week ; schedule may vary from friday to sunday
