Job Summary We are currently hiring a Baker to support our early morning production operations. The Baker is responsible for preparing high-quality bakery products, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Please note: This position requires availability to start work at 3:00 AM. Candidates must be able to reliably commute for this shift. Responsibilities Prepare and bake fresh pastries and bakery products Bake breads according to company standards Fill and finish donuts and other bakery items Prepare and maintain pastry display cases Ensure products meet quality and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Wash and sanitize dishes, tools, and equipment Follow food safety procedures and company policies Assist the barista and customer service team when required Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Previous bakery, kitchen, or food production experience is an asset Passion for food quality and customer satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistency Strong communication skills Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for an entire shift Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Portuguese language skills are considered an asset Previous bakery or café experience is preferred Food Handler Certificate is an asset Why Join Nova Era Bakery?
