Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, engaging with customers and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in your role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
• Follow food handling and safety procedures at all times
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons
• Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
• Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $16.70-$17.00 per hour
