Back-of-House Supervisor Opportunity – Be Part of Our Team!

Your Role

We’re looking for a Back-of-House Supervisor who is passionate about leading a kitchen team and delivering exceptional food quality. You’ll oversee daily operations, support and train team members, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and support the back-of-house team to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality, following recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that food preparation meets the company’s strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff, assisting in training and providing constructive feedback to help team members develop their skills.
  • Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is stocked and ready for service, while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making sure each dish meets Original Joe’s standards before it’s served to guests.
  • Troubleshoot kitchen issues and ensure timely communication between the front and back of house to maintain a seamless guest experience.

What You Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong culinary knowledge and commitment to food quality and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with both BOH and FOH teams.
  • Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for creating a positive team environment.
