Role Description The Audio Visual Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dartmouth, NS. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and dismantling audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment for events of varying size and complexity. Day-to-day tasks include configuring AV systems, managing video conferencing and projection setups, performing sound checks, and ensuring optimal lighting design. The technician will troubleshoot technical issues on-site, maintain and test equipment, and collaborate closely with clients, event planners, and team members to deliver reliable, high-quality event experiences. The role also involves occasional after-hours and weekend work based on event schedules.

Position Requirements

• Troubleshoot and problem solve potential equipment or software issues.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Work irregular hours, evening and weekends.
• Load/unload gear and equipment.
• Lift 75 pounds, walk, stand, and sit for lengthy periods of time.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean driving abstract required.
