Charmaine Sweets is looking for a Morning Baker to assist Dustin in producing and baking bread and morning pastries.

The candidate must have knowledge and experience working with bread and pastry. At least one year of previous bakery employment is mandatory. Please do not apply if you do not have at least one year industry experience and can provide a reference from a previous bakery employer.

An hourly rate of $20 with quarterly tip outs. Once the three-month probation period has ended an employee benefit program is available.

Job Details and Duties:

• 4:30am start-time, Monday-Friday

• Shaping, proofing and firing

• Ability to follow Chef's recipes and baking instruction well

• Must have experience working with commercial proofer, convection and deck oven, spiral mixer, and be able to accurately follow recipes and scale ingredients accordingly.

• Must be able to work both independently and with bakery, pastry and kitchen team

• Assist in organizing deliveries of ingredients.

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

• Able to lift 25kg or more.

Candidate will start immediately once hired. Training is provided.
