Under the guidance of the Manager, F&B Outlet or Shift Manager, the F&B Lead – Buffet plays a key role in orchestrating smooth, efficient, and guest‑focused service across our high‑volume buffet environment. This role supports daily operational flow, champions service excellence, and contributes to a safe, welcoming, and development‑focused workplace for all team members. The F&B Lead models professionalism, consistency, and hospitality while ensuring alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversees buffet operations during assigned shifts, ensuring service readiness, cleanliness, replenishment cadence, and guest flow
- Acts as a lead server or host/hostess, setting the tone for warm, efficient, and intuitive guest service
- Completes end‑of‑shift reports with accuracy and attention to operational details
- Supports month‑end inventory counts and contributes to cost‑control practices
- Executes special projects or operational initiatives assigned by F&B leadership
- Communicates effectively with culinary, stewarding, facilities, and other operational teams to maintain seamless service
- Builds strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, food safety, sanitation standards, and all regulatory requirements
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support buffet operations and team success
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Minimum 1 year of food & beverage experience; supervisory exposure considered an asset
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with POS systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a guest‑first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced buffet environment
- Serving It Right certification
- Demonstrated ability to exceed guest expectations through timely, service‑oriented
- Experience using Open Table Platform an asset
- Serving it Right Certification
- Ability to clear a criminal record check
Work Environment Considerations
Standing for extended periods and supporting the operation during non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
