Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.
• Participate in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or fine dining environments.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling practices.
• Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
