Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all food handling and preparation areas
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new grill recipes and flavor combinations
• Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle food with care, following proper knife skills and food handling procedures to maximize quality and safety
• Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled dishes as needed

Experience

• Previous experience working in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
• Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, especially in fine dining or casual dining environments
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and food handling best practices
• Strong knife skills and experience with meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving in a fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team while maintaining attention to detail in food industry standards
