Position Overview

The Dishwasher plays a key role in keeping our kitchen operating smoothly. You?ll work closely with our culinary team to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Cleaning

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and hand?washing methods
• Ensure all dishes are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and surrounding workspaces
• Clean sinks, counters, floors, and garbage/recycling stations

Kitchen Support

• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as needed
• Restock clean dishes, equipment, and supplies
• Empty waste and recycling bins and transport them to appropriate disposal areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

General Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following all health & safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, and other team members
• Perform other duties assigned by kitchen supervisors or managers

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Work Schedule

• Full-time position (30?40 hours per week)
• Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts depending on business needs

Important Transportation Requirement

Please Note: There is _no public transportation_ available to 66 South Landing Drive (Oak Bluff). Reliable personal transportation is REQUIRED to work at this location.
