Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare and submit reports. Establish work schedules. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
