We’re seeking a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Lead Server for our Cristalina PARC team in Kelowna.

In the heart of the vibrant Pandosy Village, Cristalina – PARC’s newest community – is in full bloom. Just one block from Lake Okanagan, the residence has 133 gorgeously appointed suites. This modern, sustainably designed nine-storey building is purpose-made for independent living, with vitality and social connection built right in. Residents can enjoy fine dining, lounge area, fitness activities, arts, culture, and gardening – or just sit back and take in beautiful views of the lake with a glass of fine wine.
The Lead Server actively participates in and oversees all server functions as well as leading the dining room service to create an enjoyable and pleasant dining experience for residents and guests; ensure a high standard of appearance and service; lead and motivate dining room staff; greet and seat residents; serve and provide bar service as needed.
As a Lead Server, you are a core member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for:
- Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
- Creating a warm and positive atmosphere through customer-service excellence in every interaction.
- Serving meals with flourish, according to proper food-handling procedures.
- Leading, training and motivating the serving team, providing regular feedback and coaching as needed.
- Serve as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.

- You’re a details person, an excellent communicator, and a customer service superstar.
- 3 years of experience as a server in the hospitality or seniors living industry along with your Food Safe Level 1, Serving it Right and WHMIS certifications.
- Experience in leading, training, and motivating staff.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the dining room.
- You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.
At PARC Retirement Living we require a Criminal Record Check, and a TB test within the first month of employment.
