Under general supervision and direction of working leader/working supervisor/laundry worker II, the incumbent is responsible for day-to-day laundering, sorting and delivering of residents’ clothes and other linen items in a safe and efficient manner.
You must have completed Grade 10. You are a strong communicator able to communicate well both verbally and in written English. You are reliable, self-motivated and able to work without supervision. You must be able to spend moderate amounts of time lifting objects. You must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Requirements:

A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.

A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
