COMPETITION NUMBER: 2026-260 (Repost) LOCATION: Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg, ON (All 3 Sites) STATUS: Temporary Part-Time (Until approx. March 31, 2027) UNION AFFLIATION: UNIFOR WAGE RANGE: $35.61 per hour (this hourly rate includes 14% in lieu of benefits – 2026 start rate) HOURS OF WORK: 32 hours bi-weekly minimum; 8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm shifts VACANCY REASON: Existing vacancies (2)

We have three locations in Southwest Ontario, and are well known in the community for our dedicated team providing compassionate and respectful resident-centered care.

WHAT WE OFFER: Shift premiums (for afternoons, nights, and weekends) + scheduled wage progression Paid breaks including lunch during an 8 hour shift Unlimited shift switches Schedule provided 6 weeks in advance through electronic scheduling software Confidential Employee and Family Assistance Program Uniform allowance of $200/year Majority of shifts are 8 hours Course and tuition reimbursement Innovative home with new programs Opportunity to participate in or transfer pension plans from OMERS and HOOPP. OMERS is a defined pension plan that is comparable to HOOPP.

MAIN DUTIES: Under direction, develops, implements, and assesses therapeutic, recreational, and physical programs to meet the needs of individual residents. Performs all duties in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and value statements.

QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary education in Recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology or other related field from an Ontario post-secondary institution or another jurisdiction if equivalent. An equivalent combination of skill, knowledge and experience may be considered. Current certification in both C.P.R. and Standard First Aid. Current Food Handler certification. Good observation and reporting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal compassionately with the elderly. Proficient computer skills. Ability to travel to all 3 sites.
