We are seeking an experienced and passionate hospitality leader to join our team as General Manager and help establish our hotel as a market leader in guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will partner with a highly supportive and forward-thinking Ownership Group that provides the autonomy and resources needed to successfully lead the property.

You will oversee all hotel operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction initiatives, and team leadership while creating a culture focused on service excellence and accountability. This is an exciting opportunity to launch and grow a brand-new hotel while building a high-performing team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the hotel
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through proactive service and service recovery initiatives
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement continuous improvement strategies
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop management and frontline team members
• Ensure all staff are properly trained on PMS systems, cash handling, security procedures, and Hilton service standards
• Maintain operational standards and ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met
• Develop departmental goals, monitor spending, and control expenses within budget guidelines
• Lead revenue management efforts to maximize occupancy, ADR, and market share
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, health & safety regulations, and company policies
• Oversee billing reconciliation, invoicing, and operational reporting
• Build strong relationships within the local business community and with ownership stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3?5 years of senior leadership or General Manager experience within a hotel environment
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management considered an asset
• Previous Hilton brand experience is strongly preferred
• CHSP, CHA, CHRM, or related hospitality certifications are considered assets
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities
• Warm, guest-focused personality with a passion for service excellence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing business demands
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn and utilize Hilton systems including PEP, ONQ R&I, and GRO

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $80,000 ? $90,000 annually (based on experience)
