About the Role

Manages and supervises the food and beverage service of the Copper Room dining room. This

position is critical to the quality image of the resort by maintaining our high standards.

Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing

complaints and resolving problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Sets a professional tone in the dining room

  • Supervises all Copper Room associates.

  • Makes eye contact and greets each guest as they enter the room. Seat customers and

inform them about the daily specials or promotions.

  • Manages all voids, promotions, discounts, etc. in Lightspeed.

  • Ensures all Lightspeed billing is balanced for accounting.

  • Handles reservations for Copper Room.

  • Assists service associates when necessary.

  • Checks the catering function book and house count contracts daily, looking 2 days

ahead to ensure proper staffing levels.

  • Prepares all necessary requisitions for supplies and equipment required.

  • Participates in the revisions of Copper Room menus and the upgrading of service.

  • Walk dining room and talk to guests ensures guest’s expectations are exceeded.

  • Investigates all guest complaints and deals with them in a courteous and professional

manner.

  • Investigates associate deficiencies and coaches and counsels appropriately.

  • Work harmoniously with the kitchen associates to ensure the guest meals are prepare

as ordered.

  • Sufficiently scheduling according to business volumes and occupancy.

  • Other job-related duties may be assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; one-year related experience and/or

training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Manager Serving It Right Certificate required.

  • Food Safe Certificate required.

  • Strong computer and POS (specifically Light Speed) skills.

  • Ability to balance cash, debit and credit.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where

only limited standardization exists.

  • Strong leadership qualities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to safely lift, pull, push, carry possibly up to 30 pounds.

  • Ability to stand for possibly up to eight (8) hours.

  • Flexible to a changing schedule.
