About the role
At Rim Rock Casino, we provide excellent service and experiences for our guests. Our Slot Attendants play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience while working alongside a dynamic team. We are looking for a casual/on call position in Port Alberni, BC, who can work both independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work by the gaming worker standards, covering Skill Requirements, Professionalism, Guest Services, Policies and Procedures, and Operating Procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and pleasant environment for the customers to enjoy.
- Create an enjoyable experience and environment for customers, through courteous, friendly and prompt service of customer needs.
- Report on any unusual situations or activities to the Supervisor.
- Follow safe work procedures and report any health and safety hazards to a supervisor or a Health and Safety Representative.
- Handle and resolve problems as they occur with either customer complaints, or equipment problems.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Must be able to lift minimum of 30 lbs.
- 1 year of Customer Service Experience.
- Walk and stand for long periods of time as this position requires monitoring the full casino floor activities.
