About the role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Manage kitchen operations. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Flexibility. Judgement. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
