Are you a skilled and experienced cook with a passion for creating delicious meals? UNA pizza + wine is looking for dedicated Cooks to join our team and play a crucial role in our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating stock as necessary
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
