J Dass Hospitality is looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. We are committed to providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and exceptional hospitality experience through high standards of service and attention to detail.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, support housekeeping staff, and ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily housekeeping operations and provide support to housekeeping team members. Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. Assign daily tasks and work schedules to housekeeping staff. Train, coach, and guide new housekeeping employees on proper procedures and service standards. Monitor room readiness and coordinate with the front desk team for guest arrivals and departures. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate departments. Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens. Maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and request replacements when needed. Address guest housekeeping requests and resolve concerns professionally. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health, safety, and cleanliness standards. Prepare housekeeping reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience required. Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to train and motivate housekeeping staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays. Professional attitude with strong problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospitality training or related education is an asset.
