How You Will Make An Impact
You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas and sleeping quarters in a camp setting.
As a Camp Attendant, You Will
Vacuum, dust all room furniture, blinds including hallway window frames, door frames, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, picture frames Wash, scrub and sanitize showers, sinks, toilets, door handles, fridges, sink knobs, chair handles, drawer handles, drawer surfaces, blind wands, shower heads, shower ledges, medicine cabinets, closet handles, TV remotes, desk, desk shelves, bed light and switches Keep laundry room clean and organized Empty garbage and recycle daily and disinfect the containers Keep an accurate record of all bedding allotted in camp and report any shortages to the Camp Manager and store all linen in a secure place Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to supervisors Driving is required for this position
About You
Commercial housekeeping experience in hotel or remote camp setting First Aid and WHMIS training certified Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment Capable of communicating in English (listening speaking, reading, writing) with clients, co-workers, and management Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others Be able to operate washers, dryers, vacuum machines, floor polishers and other cleaning electronic and non-electronic equipment
Position Requirments
Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test Pass a Criminal Record Check Must have a valid driver’s license and provide clean driving record (Learner Permits will not be considered) Shifts: 10hr/Day Rotation: 20 Days on/10 Days off
The hourly wage for this position is $19.50. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
